Find Your Own Hidden Dynamics
It can be hard to find our own hidden dynamics because we are so close to what is going on that what is happening might not be visible to us. There are many ways to do this. Today I am going to describe one way to find a hidden dynamic that could be affecting your relationship with your horse.
To begin with you need to notice that you are in a place where there is a pot of gold to be found. If you can think of a recurring issue with your horse that continues to happen despite your efforts to change it, you are at a good starting spot. Otherwise, think of any negative patterns that you can define or any feelings that happen on a regular basis with your horse that you would rather not experience. Any of these things are a sign to go digging for what is underneath.
Then you need to become aware, to notice what is going on. What is the situation, your thoughts and feelings as the situation occurs, what is your response, and what are your thoughts and feelings as you respond in the way you usually do?
Next you need to look at this information in a way that will let you find the gold. An easy way to begin digging is to ask yourself questions about each of the pieces I listed above. Ask yourself how you feel, what you think and why; about each piece of information.
Take that new information and ask those same questions again about your answers. Keep repeating this step until you get to the pot of gold. This will feel "right", like you found "it". It will likely feel kind of obvious, yet also be something that you hadn't realized or noticed before.
Now take that revelation and put it to use. See if you can identify a new warning signal to let you know that the dynamic is coming into play. Use the revelation to inform you about what else you should do. Also think about how things can look now that you are applying your revelation. Soak it up and then go and enjoy the results.

This is great! I am going to go digging for gold today. What I will be digging into is the snarkiness that CP still has when saddling. I love your first line. There is a lot in that little sentence. It should have bells and whistles around it.
